Details for 2007 are at an early planning stage. Please use this outline programme from a previous year as a guide only.

Common Ground on the Hill, Scotland
Programme

- if you are intending to come please indicate your tuition requirements and 'wish list' as soon as possible. The main tuition programme will be split into 'threads' - SongSchool, StringSchool, WindSchool, ArtsSchool, Children Among Us and a Gaelic Arts programme. Each area will have a number of tutors and a co-ordinator. By signing up to one of the 'Schools' you will not be restricting yourself to activites within that one thread - you will be able to cross boundaries at all times - but it will allow you to get the most flexibility out of a group of tutors.

CONCERT PROGRAMME. There is an extensive series of concerts running as part of Common Ground, and covered by the Common Ground Season Ticket. The concerts are open to the general public and tickets can be purchased for individual events. For a text verion of the CONCERT LIST click here

KEY TO COLOUR CODING

'Workshops and Masterclasses' Ayrshire Management Centre , University Campus Ayr. This is the core of our teaching programme. Most of the formal teaching sessions with be in the morning; the afternoons offering more opportunities to try something new.
Common Ground on the Hill Concerts and Festival Weekend - on site at University Campus Ayr. There will be a series of events, open to students and to the general public. At most times there will be choices to allow you to build your own 'menu' of activities.
External Concerts - The events will be open to the public and in some cases tickets will be limited. Suitable transport arrangements will be made for students to attend - in most cases options 'back at base' will still be on offer.
Our trips out, fun and 'cultural visit' programme Our trips this year are likely to be more numerous, but smaller. Some advance sign up may be required but you should be able to fit some sightseeing alongside your tuition plans.
