Painting

Instructors:
Ellen Elmes & Jim Butler

Duration: 2 periods morning and afternoon, plus practical sessions. This will be taught by Ellen Elmes. One course of two periods will explore the cultural and historical impact of community mural making from cave painting to church frescoes. A further course of two periods will be on a complimentary subject. Students may elect to take one or both of the courses leading to an exhibition of work at the end of the week.

From beginner to advanced, this course will follow the same format of all our courses.

Our tutors can cater for the specific needs of the student and the only pre-requisite is that you let us know what those needs are. This will enable us to formalise the course and plan our strategy (which, of course, will be as flexible as needs be).

Please specify your skill levels and what you expect of this course when booking, then we will have a better idea of what is expected by our students and tailor our classes to fit your needs.
